Successful Fundraiser for
Drought Victims in Eritrea
Dimtsi.com held a successful
fundraiser after it invited all
Eritreans in the Greater Toronto Area to take part in a
barbeque dedicated to the drought victims of Eritrea. 2.3
million (70% of the population) Eritreans suffer from the
effects of drought in Eritrea and 21% of children are
suffering from malnutrition, the Eritreans in Toronto
responded well to the urgent call by showing up to the
event. Eritrea is being
overlooked by the International Community. It is the duty
of all Eritreans to be aware of the destruction of drought
and seriousness of the situation. Dimtsi.com would like to
thank all those who came to the barbeque. The funds
collected will go to benefit the people of Eritrea. The
BBQ was a great success and Dimtsi.com hopes to organize a
similar event in the near future.
