Farewell, to Consul Ahmed Iman

Consul Ahmed Iman departed from Oakland California [the Silicon Valley], after five years of public services - as a consul general for the western United States of America.

Last Saturday in Oakland California - Eritrean Americans from different cities of the west coast throw a farewell party in honor of his remarkable achievement during his five years public service, as a go-between his fellow citizens and the host Country.

Consul Ahmed was humbled by the heart - felt gratitude that he received from his countrymen for making his good offices available to them without distinction.

For Brother Ahmed this was his second tour of duty for his country. He joined The Eritrean Liberation Front in early seventies while he was a student in North America - as a member of Eritrean National student Union of North America.

….In mid seventies he advanced his commitment to his people and Country by extending his national service in volunteering to the Front line: The Battle field for Libration of Eritrea that is.

In Pre - independent Eritrea, He has also served as a lead cadre for the major Eritrean mass organization in Europe: Milano, Italy.

Brother Ahmed is a graduate of The EPLF Cadre school, where sons and daughters of Eritrea pulled their strength of leadership from. They stayed the course of Libration whatever the cost, until complete victory is achieved. Keenness and honesty is the fundamental, although some dropped in between the cracks, as anticipated the great majority of them have made it through to carry on their national duty.
