| St. Michael receives new Priest |
| On Friday the 6th of February the new
Eritrean priest for St. Michael Orthodox Tewahdo Church was greeted by
Toronto Eritreans and priests of other Eritrean churches in Toronto.
The priest, Keshi Yebrah Goitome Ghebre was welcomed at Pearson
International Airport yesterday. |
| On Saturday 7, 2003 a ceremony was
performed to welcome Keshi Yebrah. At 5:00pm Toronto Eritreans gave
the new priest a warm welcome by singing hymns as the priest made his
way into the church carrying a copy of the Ted Commandments. The
Eritrean Catholic church donated $500 to St. Michael's Church. |
