Women's Day in Toronto a success March 7, 2004
Eritrean women gathered at 1118 St. Clair Ave. West on March 6, 2004 to celebrate Women's Day. The event began by an opening statement by the HAMADE chairwoman Wezero Zaid. It was followed by Consul Nura's statement where she expressed the importance of continued programs and events. Dinner was organized shortly after. The event was also marked by the Martyr's Fund Lottery where the 1st prize  an airline ticket (sponsored by Airliners) to Asmara was awarded to Solomon Zebib followed by the 2nd prize a DVD player which was handed to Nigsti Asfaha. The event in conclusion delighted all those who participated and encouraged further women's activities. Pictorial Report Below
